Travel: Vintage Market Days of Nashville

Happy Monday! What a great weekend we had, full of relaxing, date night, a new hair cut,  and catching up on the house. I love those kind of weekends. I hope you all had a great weekend as well. I can't believe we are in November and the Holiday's are right around the corner.

As much as I love the Holidays, I wanted to slowly start sharing Holiday events in Nashville that are coming up for the month of November and December to give you all the details of all of the exciting things coming to town. To kick this off, I wanted to share an exciting Vintage Market that is coming to the Nashville Fairgrounds in December. I will be attending and I am so glad to work with the Vintage Market Day Festival to promote this great event!

The Vintage Market Days Nashville is only one month away, and I can't wait to attend! I love attending festivals and markets for the Holidays! This market showcases handmade products from local artisans and shops. There will be live music, food, and so much more.

Tickets start at just $5 and can be purchased here:Purchase Tickets

You can also pre-purchase your tickets so you can bypass the line to pay at the gate!

Here is a little more about the event directly from their website:

What is Vintage Market Days?
Vintage Market Days is an upscale vintage-inspired market featuring original art, antiques, clothing, jewelry, handmade treasures, home décor, outdoor furnishings consumable yummies, seasonal plantings and a little more. The market is a three day event held several times a year in varying communities throughout the United States. Each Vintage Market Days event is a unique opportunity for vendors to display their talents and passions in different venues throughout the country.  The market will also provide the customer with a very special shopping experience.  We absolutely love the thought of bringing the Vintage experience to both vendors and customers throughout the country!

Recipes: Mam's Hot Apple Cider

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday :)

It's a beautiful day in Tennessee, it is actually quite warm but I received a few requests wanting my grandma's hot apple cider recipe for the upcoming holiday's. It is truly so good and smells amazing. This would be a perfect recipe for a holiday party or for a chilly weekend night! For those of you who don't know, "Mam" is what I call my grandma on my mom's side. I know some of my readers aren't from my hometown and may not know that. You have seen Mam several times on the blog but wanted to formally introduce "Mam" haha. She made this for our Family Fall Fun Festival that I shared with you a few weeks ago and boy was it a hit (like always).

Here is the recipe:

ingredients:
(this is for an entire crockpot recipe- you can also make a smaller version of this on the stovetop)

-Aspen brand Mulling Spices carton The cinnamon orange blend (You can use a few tablespoons of this or use the entire carton if you desire it really depends how strong you would like this)
Check your local grocery store for any brand of this blend- this can be found at Kroger
-1 jug of apple cider
-6 cups of orange juice
-1 cup of sugar
-2 sticks of cinnamon
-1 whole nutmeg

details:
-pour all ingredients into your crockpot
-place the lid on and place on high for 2-3 hours
-you can also garnish this with slices of orange to give your pot some color or apples as well
-your cinnamon sticks will float in the crock pot and also make it look great and smell amazing
-enjoy the smells and a hot drink for the fall and winter

enjoy! :) If you ever make this recipe, I would love to see your pictures! Share away! Have a great weekend and thank you as always for stopping by.

Home Decor: Brentwood Parade of Homes (design & decor inspiration)

Hi Everyone! Happy November, holy cow I can't believe it! I hope you all had a great Halloween! Reed and I really went all out and celebrated by eating out and heading to the movies haha! I told you I would post this last night but it ended up being a late night with a later movie. I wanted to share all of the decor and design inspiration from the most recent Nashville/Brentwood Parade of Homes. We really enjoyed attending this year and getting to walk through these homes. They were all so unique and beautiful in different ways. This is great inspiration to help you decorate or save for a dream home later on! Either way, these are great ideas to look at :) I hope you all enjoy and I hope you had a great weekend!

Lengthy post with a lot of pics *Warning* :) I took over 100 pictures but narrowed it down a bit. These pictures are from my I-phone not with my good camera, but you get the good idea!
