well, i am back from new york and wanted to share some of the fun times we had. i was in the city for a week for work and fortunately reed got to visit and spend some time with me as well. we had so much fun in just a few short days that he was visiting.
as you can see from above and every other post; we enjoy food! ha! who doesn't? we tried new things and definitely enjoyed some of our favorites. we have both been to new york several times before but this was our first trip together; therefore, we wanted to walk and explore new things. we have visited the 9/11 memorial before, but neither of us had experienced the actual 9/11 museum. We spent several hours at the museum, although it was very emotional and heartbreaking for us to see.
a new favorite for us was staying at the warwick hotel. it is an old fashioned/hollywood hotel in the heart of times square. we also enjoyed carlo's bakery, shake shack, lindys cheesecake, and a favorite John's pizzeria. our favorite date was sitting in central park at night people watching.
